Booking Policy
- Minimum booking duration is 3 nights, except for charters booked within the next 4 weeks where 2-night bookings may be accepted. Contact management for help.
- Weekend surcharge applies for arrivals or departures on Saturday or Sunday.
- To secure your booking, a deposit of $337 is required at the time of booking (inclusive of 10% GST and 2% merchant card fee).
- Final payment can be made via credit card or direct deposit. GST applies regardless of payment method.
- An invoice for the final amount is emailed to you, with payment due 30 days prior to your charter.
- For bookings made within the next 4 weeks, the final amount invoice is emailed promptly.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before your trip are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 4 weeks of your trip are eligible for a credit toward a future booking.
- If we need to cancel due to weather or other unforeseen operational circumstances, you will receive a full refund or credit.
- No-shows are charged at the full booking amount.

Do I need a boat licence to hire a houseboat?
No. A boat licence is not required. Our team provides a practical handover and briefing before departure.
How long should we book for?
Most guests choose 3 nights or more to fully enjoy the Pumicestone Passage, local anchorages, and relaxed onboard living.
